Using bioinformatics and supercomputers, University of Montreal researchers were able to create the largest-ever mathematical simulation of the electrical activity of a human heart - a 2 billion element model - to provide new insight into cardiac and other illnesses. Just a bit more than a month to go, but I know that a lot of you are already getting the trimmings ready for your Christmas trees. I know a lot who have opted for artificial trees, and they even have them up already! If you have dust mite allergies, make sure you get your tree and trimmings a good wipe down before setting them up.
